A double door freezer is suited to kitchens that need more upright frozen storage or want to separate different groups of stock within one unit. Restaurants, caterers and higher volume kitchens can use the wider cabinet to organise frozen ingredients while keeping them accessible during preparation and service.
Yes. One side can be allocated to one ingredient group and the other side to another, depending on your menu and stock system. This makes it easier for staff to know where products belong and can reduce unnecessary searching when several people use the freezer during a busy shift.
It can be a practical option when bulk purchasing creates more frozen inventory than a single door unit can comfortably organise. The important question is not only total storage volume, but whether staff can arrange stock so older products remain visible and accessible rather than disappearing behind newer deliveries.
