The Trespade Takeje Deluxe Vacuum Pack Machine is a luxurious piece of catering equipment that has a vacuum chamber which is designed to facilitate the insertion of bags and prevents the suction of any liquid into the machine. • You can seal fresh meat such as red meat, chicken or fish, separately of course. Place the meat in a vacuum pack. The vacuum action will remove all the air out of the pack and seal the freshness. These packs of meat can be placed in a supermarket or butchery fridge for display for the day or it can be frozen for use another day.
• You can keep biltong fresh by drawing out all the air and sealing it. If you buy biltong in bulk and don’t want it to get old quickly, you can separate it in usable portions and vacuum pack it for enjoyment on another day.
• Keep vegetables fresh by vacuum packing it. We have all had vegetables that have gone bad in the fridge. That is due to the air around it. Vegetables such as lettuce and tomatoes can be kept fresh for longer by drawing out the air and the moisture. The lack of these elements will give you a longer shelf life on these vegetables.
• Have you considered storing smoothies in the freezer? Make smoothies, pour one serving in a vacuum pack bag and seal it; then store it in the freezer. Take out one pack of smoothie each day for your enjoyment.
• Sliced or diced fruit can be kept fresh by vacuum sealing it. If you want to prepare a fruit salad in advance, you can dice the apples, bananas, peaches and other fruits then place them in a vacuum pack bag. This process will remove the air, seal the freshness and prevent the fruit from turning brown. You can place the diced fruit in the fridge for the following day when you want to prepare the fruit salad.
